The application process for JEE Main 2024 First Phase started on 2nd November 2023. Students can submit applications till 9 PM on 30th November 2023. In this regard, ‘National Testing Agency’ (NTA) has issued a notification on November 2, 2023.
JEE Main 2024 First Phase – Online Exams
The exams related to JEE Main 2024 First Phase will be conducted online from 24th January to 1st February 2024.
Paper – 1
To get admission in B.Tech., in NITs and IIITs, one has to write Paper-1 in JEE Main. Paper-1 will have total 90 questions and the question paper will be of 300 marks.
Paper – 2A
To get admission in B.Arch., one has to write Paper-2A in JEE Main. Paper-2A will have total 82 questions and the question paper will be of 400 marks.
Paper – 2B
To get admission in B. Planning, one has to write Paper-2B in JEE Main. Paper-2B will have total 105 questions and the question paper will be of 400 marks.
Syllabus
Due to the reduction in the syllabus for CBSE students in classes 9 and 10 as well as inter or equivalent class during the Corona period, the JEE Main exams have also been reduced accordingly.
Many lessons in chemistry have been completely eliminated. Some lessons in physics and mathematics have been removed completely and others partially. The details of the deleted lessons have been made available by NTA on the JEE Main website.
Exams Timings
JEE Main 2024 First Phase Exams will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm every day.
